Nicole Richie talked about her children who are now teenagers

In 2022, Nicole Richie opened up about the latest hurdles she faces when having children: raising teenagers. Harlow is now 15 years old and Sparrow is 14.

“I get my eyes rolled a lot. But this also happens to me a lot: phones sneak up on me,” Richie explained, imitating her children tilting their phones to point them at her. “So I’m convinced they are sending videos of me to their friends. Which I used to do to my dad all the time, and I thought it was embarrassing, but I really thought it was funny.”

Nicole Richie also said that her children tend to gang up on her nowadays. “Teenagers can definitely gang up on you,” she said. Despite that, she loves the teenage stage. “I like it when people give it to me and show me a different side of myself.”

“I think teenagers will be the quickest to show you a side of yourself that you’ve probably chosen to ignore. And I think they can be your best teachers, so I constantly learn from them.”
