His next project was the John Boorman thriller “Point Blank” (1967), starring Lee Marvin and now considered a classic.

After that, the production team received Oscar nominations for Best Picture for “Raging Bull” (1980) and “The Right Stuff” (1983), their last collaboration before Chartoff-Winkler Productions dissolved in 1985.
