Meryl Streep hilariously revealed that Nicole Kidman bathed naked every morning on the set of Big little lies.
While presenting an award to her former co-star at the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award Gala, Meryl opened up about Nicole’s unique morning routine.
“Reese [Witherspoon] “He told me that the first night we were in Monterey, before we started filming, she said, ‘Do you know what she does?'” Meryl began.
“I said, ‘No, Nicole?’ She says, ‘Yeah, do you know what she does? She goes out at 5, before dawn, and she bathes naked behind the hotel in the ocean.’”
At the time, Meryl said, she was surprised by Nicole’s strange habit.
“I looked at Nicole and said, ‘Are you kidding me? The Pacific is like 48 degrees in March,” she recalled. “Nicole said, ‘Yes! I love it!'”

Of course, mentioning her skinny-dipping routine wasn’t all Meryl had to say about the brilliant actress. She went on to praise her incredible acting talent.
“You are like a mustang, a workhorse and a champion racer all in one, but whose spirit will never be broken,” he said of Nicole. “Never.”
Meryl, 74, and Nicole, 56, worked together on the second season of Big little lieswhich aired in 2019.
“It would take a normal person three lifetimes to reach his list of credits, roles and good deeds in the world,” Meryl told her former colleague. “Your life and resume challenge everything we know about how many hours there are in the day and how many places a woman can be at the same time.”
Then he added that it is “difficult not to envy her” and at the same time “impossible not to be amazed.”
“When an actress bares it all and leaps into the unknown, she dives deep into the darkest parts of what it is to be a human being,” Meryl said. “But I don’t think it’s bravery. I think it’s love. “I think she just loves it.”
“And I think that’s the greatest attribute an actor can have: that mix of appetite, curiosity and recklessness,” he continued. “You got that, baby.”
