Nicolas Hulkenberg, also known as Nico Hülkenberg, is a professional racing driver from Germany. Nico Hulkenberg competed in Formula One and, from 2012 to 2020, was a member of the team. He is currently a member of the Aston Martin F1 team. For Formula One racing, he is their reserve and development driver.

Personal life
He is not married and has no children, however, he has been in a relationship with Egle Ruskyte, a native of Lithuania. Since 2015, the couple has been dating and Egle has been spotted in the paddock on race weekends.

Career and professional life
Nico Hulkenberg began racing at the age of ten in 1997 and won the German Junior Karting Championship and the German Kart Championship in 2002 and 2003. He debuted in Formula BMW in 2005.
He became the most successful driver in A1GP history with nine wins in his first season, and he single-handedly helped Germany win the championship with 128 points.

GP2 Series (2009)
He took pole position after making his GP2 Asia Series debut with the ART Grand Prix team at the third round of the 2008–09 GP2 Asia Series in Bahrain. He came in sixth place in the championship.
He won the GP2 Series with teammate Pastor Maldonado in 2009 and then won the sprint race the following year. Hülkenberg first drove a Formula One car in a test for Williams in 2007.
On the same day, he won his first Formula One pole position at the Brazilian Grand Prix on 6 November.
Indian Force (2011-2016)
Nico Hülkenberg joined Force India for the 2012 season, replacing Paul di Resta. He failed to start the Australian Grand Prix due to a leak in the fuel system. However, he achieved his best result of the season at the Korean Grand Prix, finishing fourth.
For the 2014 season, he was signed by Force India to race alongside Sergio Pérez. With 58 points, he finished tenth in the 2015 season, 20 points behind his teammate, and helped Force India finish sixth in the Constructors’ Championship.
In 2016, he also placed seventh in Australia, followed by two 15th and fifth places in Monaco.
Renault’s agreement with Nico
On 14 October 2016, Renault Sport announced that it had signed a multi-year contract to compete with the Renault Sport Formula One team. With a ninth place finish in the third race of the season in Bahrain, he scored his first points for the team. .
Renault finished sixth in the Constructors’ Championship, while tenth in the Drivers’ Championship.
Various Grand Prix
After a series of poor results in the United States, he bounced back with a sixth place finish. After that, he placed sixth in Mexico. He concluded the season in seventh place with 69 points and Renault came in fourth place.
Achievements
