Neelam Bisht was born on Wednesday, 5 June 1996 (age 26 years; as in 2022) in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. His zodiac sign is Gemini. Neelam grew up playing cricket with a rubber ball in her backyard. Seeing his passion for cricket, his parents enrolled him in Little Master Cricket Club, Dehradun, where he trained under coach Narendra Shah. Later, he trained under Upendra Rawat at Nimbus Academy in Dehradun. At the age of 12, Neelam was selected to play for Haryana Women.

In 2019, Bisht bowled the last over for Punjab against Karnataka Women in the Senior T20 Challenge, leading her team to victory. In 2023, she was selected by Mumbai Indians during the Women’s Premier League auction in Mumbai.
