Nawazbai Tata (1877–1965) was an Indian businessman and social activist. She is the grandmother of Ratan Tata, former chairman of the Tata Group. He died in Bombay in 1965.

She was instrumental in the formation of the Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT), which was established after her husband’s death in 1918. In 1925, Nawazbai Tata became the first woman to hold the position of director at Tata Sons in Mumbai. To be appointed to the post.
