Naveen Shankar is an Indian actor and TV presenter, who predominantly works in Kannada films. He is known for his roles in the Kannada films Hondisi Bareiri (2023) and Gurudev Hoysala (2023).

Naveen Shankar was born on Wednesday, 25 May 1988 (age 35 years; as in 2023) in Ilkal, Bagalkot, Karnataka. His zodiac sign is Gemini. He did his schooling in a school in the area. He grew up listening to stories of legends and watching Kannada cinema on DD channels, which developed his interest in acting. Talking about this in an interview, Shankar said,
My teachers introduced me to various subjects, which drew my attention towards storytelling, which left a lasting impression on me. Reading recommended books and watching inspiring movies and dialogues spoken by various actors inspired me.
After completing his schooling, he enrolled in engineering courses. However, when he was in his first year of college, he left the course to pursue theatre. While in college, Naveen started a Kannada theater group.

Apart from films, he has also worked in some TV serials and short films.
