Naveen Gupta did her schooling till 8th class from Convent of Jesus and Mary, Ambala Cantt, Haryana. In 2002, she completed her 10th class from St. Anne’s Convent School, Chandigarh and her 12th class from a government school. Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 33, Chandigarh. After completing his schooling in Chandigarh, Gupta pursued B.Tech in Electronics and Communications at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana (2004–2008). In 2010, he completed an MSc in Marketing from Nyenrode Business University, Netherlands, and also completed courses in Marketing Channels & Retailing and Market Intelligence & International Brand Management. In 2011, he received an MBA degree in International Trade from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.

Naveen Gupta worked at Hero MotoCorp Limited, New Delhi for more than three years. He joined the firm in July 2011 as a management trainee. During his training, he conducted primary market research in 10 countries (4 Southeast Asian, 3 Latin American, 3 West African) and secondary market research in 5 countries (3 Latin American, 2 African). In June 2012, he was promoted to deputy manager and led Hero’s first international market launch after his separation from Honda. In April 2013, Gupta was promoted from deputy manager to country sales manager, and is responsible for managing the business in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua, as well as sales and distribution, network development and marketing for the Central American region. - In March 2007, he won the third prize in the national level project presentation for presenting his summer intern project at Cognizant’07 (the second largest tech festival held in India) under his B.Tech programme.
- In April 2008, he received a ‘Letter of Appreciation’ from Asst. Director of MM Engineering College (Kurukshetra University). He was among the top 3 students of his batch and also brought six national awards to the college.
- In September 2009, he received the ‘Order of Merit Award for Best Work in Promotional Marketing’ from the Marketing Association of America (MAA), USA.
- In October 2010, he won the second prize in the International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition held at Duxel International Pte Ltd, Singapore.
- He is also the winner of ‘The National Level Social Campaign Design and Execution Contest’ held at IIM Indore in December 2010.
