Naoya Inoue’s wife stayed out of the limelight. Despite being the wife of one of the world’s most famous boxers, Naoya’s better half decided to remain low-key. The couple reportedly tied the knot on December 1, 2015 in their native Japan. According to a Japanese newspaper, the couple filed their marriage certificate at Kanagawa City Hall. The two first met in high school, long before Naoya became a huge figure in Japan and the world of boxing.
Naoya Inoue has three children
Since their wedding in 2015, the couple has had three children. Akiba, their first child, was born on October 5, 2017. About which the boxer informed his fans on Instagram two days after the birth. The boxer has made several posts with his child over the years. He posted a picture with his wife, child and younger brother at Gunma Yoshi Shrine in 2019. As the family celebrated the New Year by visiting the shrine, Inoue covered his wife’s face with a star-shaped emoticon.
Inoue posted photos of his kid putting on boxing gloves and hitting a punching bag. But one of the cutest videos on Naoya’s Instagram shows Akiba wearing his boxing gloves and watching TV, but swaying left and right, back and forth, trying to stay awake. Inoue and his wife welcomed their second child, a daughter, in 2019. He posted a photo of himself rocking his baby on Instagram, as well as a photo of Akiba, who didn’t like his sister. The couple’s third child was born in April 2021, however, Naoya was unable to attend the birth due to COVID procedures.

Naoya Inoue comes from a boxing family. The boxer was born to Shingo and Miho Inoue and has a brother and a sister. Shingo Inoue, his father, is a former amateur boxer who retired at the age of 23 to become the trainer of his two children. Shingo married his wife when he was 19, and the two have been married for almost 30 years. Shingo and Miho have been spotted cheering on their children on various occasions. Shingo, in addition to being a trainer for his two boys, owns Meisei Paint Co. Ltd in the town of Zama. Takuma Inoue, Naoya’s younger brother, made his boxing debut two years before him, in 2013. He is the current WBA bantamweight champion, with a record of 18-0 and one loss.
When he faced Moroccan boxer Nordine Oubaali for the WBC World Bantamweight Championship in 2019, he was defeated. Takum’s next title fight is scheduled for November 15 against Jerwin Anacajas. Naoya also has a sister, Haruka Inoue, who stays out of the public eye.
