Anna recently spoke with Mirror about how her new relationship with Simon Marks has given a “huge shot of energy” to her love life.
“There’s something wonderful about meeting someone new that makes you realize, ‘Oh, I’m not dead from the waist down.’ In fact, I can experience amazing sex like I had in my twenties. It is possible to recover it, but it requires work,” said Anna.
Anna also talked about her partnership with Replens, a brand that works to relieve vaginal dryness.
“I have experienced some vaginal dryness that has made intercourse difficult at times,” she says. “I talk about it with my friends. We thought, ‘God, are you a little dry?’ and ‘Do you have cystitis?’ she said. “Let’s start this conversation. Davina McCall and several other women are doing wonderfully, so it’s good that the conversation is out there. But no one talks about this last taboo. “It’s something that doesn’t get said, but women really want to know about sex during menopause.”
