Nadia Hussain is a British TV chef, author and television presenter who rose to fame after winning the sixth series of BBC’s The Great British Bake Off in 2015.

Nadia Hussain was born as Nadia Zameer Hussain on 25 December 1984 (age 36 years; as in 2020) in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. After marrying Abdal, Nadia moved to Leeds, England. Nadia enrolled herself in an Open University degree in Childhood and Youth Studies. Nadia loved baking and would often make cakes whenever she felt stressed. Nadia wanted to become a social worker after completing her degree but fate had other plans. Her husband gave her a downloaded application form for ‘The Great British Bake Off Series 6’ and after some persuasion, Nadia went on to take part in the show.

Nadia won the show in 2015 and she signed several contracts with the BBC and hosted the documentary show ‘The Chronicles of Nadia’, the cookery show ‘Nadia’s British Food Adventure’ and ‘Nadia’s Family Favourites’. Nadia also co-presented The Big Family Cooking Showdown with television presenter Zoe Ball.

Nadia Hussain also worked as a columnist for The Times Magazine and signed publishing deals with Penguin Random House and Harlequin. He is a contributing editor for the BBC’s food media brand, Good Food. Nadia has also written a children’s book containing stories and recipes, Bake Me a Story which was published by Hodder Children’s Books. Nadia wrote her first novel ‘The Secret Lives of the Amir Sisters’ with the help of author Ayesha Malik. In 2019, Nadia’s autobiography ‘Finding My Voice’ was published by Headline Publishing Group. The book also contained some of her own recipes and poems.
