Murray Head, a British singer and actor, was recently injured when his car collided with a lorry in France. On Monday, he was traveling near the town of Pau in the South Pyrenees region when the incident occurred. Head, 76, was involved in the crash after he lost control and collided with a truck. In an interview with the local press, he said,
“I was very lucky. I was traveling north-south when I realized I was going in the wrong direction. Was the sun blinding me? I’m not sure. I didn’t drink anything.”
Head escaped with minor injuries and returned home safely. He was conscious during the rescue and the truck driver was unharmed. Access to the road was restricted and diverted while officers removed damaged cars. Murray Head officials have not released a statement about the incident. He was on his way to radio France Bleu Bearn Bigorre to give an interview about the Queen’s death when tragedy struck.
