Mudassar Khan was born on 20 October 1987 (age 31 years; in 2018) in a lower-middle-class family in Mumbai. He went to MTS Khalas High School, Goregaon and completed his graduation from Prakash Degree College, Kandivali. She developed interest in dance at the age of eight as her family was facing some financial problems. So, he started teaching dance in schools to earn some money and help his family. He was always fond of dancing. But he never thought of making it a profession.
Mudassar Khan participated and won many dance competitions. In one such competition, Mudassar Khan got a chance to meet Salman Khan. Salman Khan was impressed by his choreography and offered him a song in his next film. It was from here that his journey as a choreographer began.

Mudassar Khan started dancing at the age of eight. Initially dancing was his hobby. Due to his financial condition, when he was just 13-14 years old, he started teaching dance at Thakur Public School, Kandivali, Mumbai. She worked there from 2001 to 2007 and also taught dance in some dance academies. Later, in 2004, he formed a hip-hop dance group called Sharp Shooters.
He used to participate in various dance competitions with his group and solo. He was performing in a dance competition in a mall in Mumbai, which was being judged by Salman Khan. Muddassar’s team won the competition and got a chance to choreograph a song in Salman Khan’s film Dabangg. According to Mudassar, Salman Khan is a God-sent man who changed his life; After Dabangg he never looked back.

After Dabangg, he choreographed many other songs for Salman Khan but he came into limelight with DID Season 4 (2013); Where he was one of the three judges of the show. Later, he was a judge on Dance Singapore Dance Season 2 (2017) and DID Season 6 (2017), followed by DID Lil Masters Season 3 (2004).
From 2010 to 2017, he worked as a choreographer for over 20 films, including Dabangg 1 & 2, Ishq in Paris, Boss, Jai Ho, Fuglie, O Teri, Kick and Ram Leela.
