Hasleen Kaur was born on Thursday, 10 November 1988 (age 34 years; as of 2022) in Binnaguri cantonment, Jalpaiguri district, West Bengal. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio. After completing her schooling at Delhi Public School (DPS) in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, in 2007, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in English literature at Jesus and Mary College in Delhi. After earning her bachelor’s degree in 2009, Hasleen enrolled at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication in Delhi and earned a post-graduate diploma in Advertisement, Public Relations, and Applied Communication in 2010. She later enrolled at the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) for an acting course.

Film
Hasleen Kaur made her acting debut in Bollywood with the 2009 film Love Aaj Kal in which she played the role of the lead character Harleen’s sister. Talking to the media about it, during an interview, she said,
I did a small cameo in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ in 2009. That was the first time I was working, and I never thought of getting into acting. Just being on set and understanding the chaos and the madness of creating a movie.”
According to several sources, Hasleen was offered the lead role of a prostitute named Chanda in the 2009 Bollywood film Dev D. She, however, rejected the offer as she did not want her first lead role to be bold. In 2014, she landed the lead role of a character named Preet in the Hindi film Karle Pyaar Karle.
In 2022, she appeared in a Bollywood film titled Mili as a character named Hasleen. She reportedly took Rs 55 Lacs for the film.
Web Series
She made her web series debut with CAT, which was released on 9 December 2022. In the series, she played the role of a Punjab Police cop named Babita Masih. She appeared alongside Randeep Hooda.

Hasleen Kaur started her modelling career when she was studying. In 2011, she participated in the Pantaloons Femina Miss India beauty pageant, where she was the first runner-up. She then represented India at Femina Miss Earth, where she was crowned Femina Miss India Earth by Nicole Faria on 3 December 2011. After winning the pageant, during an interview, she said,
I think Miss India really does open up doors of different opportunities. It really helped me in making connections – meetings with producers, directors, choreographers, and actors, and I was already modeling. I was just one of the faces in the modeling industry before Miss India happened. But after Miss India, I was getting invited to showstopper weeks, and fashion weeks. People knew me by my name. One of the best things that Miss India offers if you want to fall into the glamour industry, is it just completely gives it to you on a platter.”

Later, she was signed by a Mumbai-based talent management agency named Kwan. In 2011, she was featured on the cover of Femina fashion magazine. Hasleen likes the French style of dressing up. She also likes simple red lipstick on beige, white, flowy, and well-fitted outfits. In 2016, she walked the ramp during Lakme Fashion Week.
