The 2023 MTV VMAs nominations are here!
The annual celebration of all things music videos, hosted by MTV, announced the nominees for the 2023 Video Music Awards celebration on Tuesday (August 8).
Taylor Swift and SZA lead for nominations, and for the first time, female nominees dominate the top category for Video of the Year.
All of the songs nominated for Video of the Year have hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart aside from Doja Cat’s “Attention,” which was released two months ago.
The annual MTV awards ceremony return to New Jersey’s Prudential Center on Tuesday, September 12. It will air live at 8 p.m. ET and PT. A host has not yet been named.
