the host of the MTV Music Video Awards 2023 has been announced!
We’re just a few days away from this year’s big ceremony, and on Friday morning (September 8), MTV announced the headliner who will serve as host and performer for the ceremony.

This year’s host will be Nicki Minaj!
The “Barbie World” rapper, 40, also hosted the ceremony last year.
“SO EXCITED to have @NICKIMINAJ BACK as our emcee at the #VMAs this year!!!!!” mtv tweeted.
Over the years, Nicki has won six VMAand was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award in 2022.
This year, Nicki is nominated for six awards, including Video of the Year for “Super Freaky Girl.” See the full list of nominees here.
He VMA 2023 will air live from the Prudential Center in New Jersey on September 12 at 8 pm ET/PT on MTV.
