Moushumi Chatterjee was born on Thursday, 18 December 1980 (age 39 years; as in 2020) in Kolkata (West Bengal). Their zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He did his schooling from Bethune Collegiate School and later studied at Bethune College, Kolkata. He did his post graduation in Mathematics from Calcutta University.

livelihood
Her open-minded husband encouraged her to live her dream. After becoming a mother, she resumed her studies, completed a designing course from INIFD Bangalore and became a fashion designer. She never took training to establish herself as a model.
Her family and friends encouraged her to participate in a beauty pageant. She won the title of Mrs. Bharat Icon Congeniality 2018 and Mrs. Bharat Icon Style Diva 2019 in the Bharat Icon Beauty Pageant. She has done many brand connective modeling and many photoshoots for famous brands.

According to her, after marriage she faced a difficult phase in her life, her in-laws used to harass her and instigate her husband to divorce her. When they failed they deprived his son of his birthright. Tired of being tortured by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, she once attempted suicide.

- He belongs to an extremely conservative Hindu Brahmin family. In an interview he said,
My parents never thought that I would ever have a future or a career, apart from the traditional Indian rule, ‘No matter what qualities a girl possesses, marriage is necessary.’ He never thinks anything out of the box.” My desires and dreams always lie beneath my closed eyes. After marriage, I got typical domineering and malicious in-laws, they never supported me in upgrading my career but also made unfair judgments as well as insults. In fact, he is also against women’s education. I was about to go crazy due to the terrible mental torture of my in-laws, but my husband supported me, so I could upgrade myself and reach this level.
- After marriage, she faced hardship and harassment from her in-laws. The couple moved to Ahmedabad to escape trouble and avoid any mishap.
- After pregnancy, her weight increased to around 90 kg, she thought of killing herself. She could not attend any functions or parties and had to be humiliated because of her weight, but her determination and strong will helped her become a model.
