Insatiable is a teen comedy-drama that follows Patty Bladell’s experiences in high school. Patty is continually harassed by her weight. She eventually gets punched in the face and needs surgery to close her jaw. For 3 months, Patty has been resigned to a liquid diet, which makes her lose weight.
Patty returns to school wanting revenge on anyone who bullied her. She also catches the eye of beauty coach, Bon Armstrong, who sets out to transform her into a pageant queen. The show had a poor reception when it first came out.
Therefore, it came as a surprise that Netflix renewed the show for a second season. The reason for the renewal was that even though critics hated the show, viewers loved it. Insatiable it earned an 84% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The friendship between Katie and Alexa is one to behold. It shows how strong friends can help each other through difficulties. You will also laugh a lot while watching alexa and katie on Netflix.
Veronica Mars (2004-)
everyone was sad when veronica mars came to an abrupt end in 2007. The crime thriller follows the story of a smart and fearless high school student who eventually becomes a private investigator.
His passion is solving the toughest cases in the city of Neptune. The main motivation for this passion is the murder of her best friend, Lily. Veronica has to get over her sexual trauma to make sure she succeeds. The show was an incredible portrait of how women can overcome the greatest trials.

The show focuses on the lives and careers of the ladies Ruth recruits. Every fighter struggles with life both inside and outside of the ring. The characters depend on strong female friendships to get ahead in an industry with strong social biases.
GLOW it has become a huge success due to a handpicked cast, a fun story, and a strong message. It has a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and you can watch it on Netflix.
Elite (2018- )
When three working-class students win scholarships to Las Encinas, they receive a hostile reception from the school’s wealthy students. However, Nadia, Christian and Samuel slowly become friends.
Pretty soon, you can’t tell the difference between the new students and the old ones. There’s a lot of drama on the show, as you’d expect from high school students.
The first season ends with the discovery of a murder, while the second season is about the quest to find the killer. It’s a brilliant series, with many strong characters. There is a particular focus on the female characters and how they deal with issues like sexuality and religion.

The Society (2019- )
Imagine coming home from a walk to find that the rest of the people in your town have left. That’s the reality these teens from West Ham, Connecticut find themselves in after returning from a canceled field trip.
To make matters worse, a dense forest grows around the town, locking the teens inside. Also, the outside world doesn’t seem to exist and they can’t make contact outside of the city. The situation leaves them with limited resources and a desire to stay alive.

Greenhouse Academy (2017-)
greenhouse academy was adapted from an Israeli show called The GreenHouse. Hayley and Alex Woods enroll in the elite Greenhouse Academy, reserved for talented future leaders. The two join opposite houses and soon become bitter rivals.
Hayley joins the Ravens (the smart ones), while Alex joins the Eagles (the jock ones). The brothers soon discover that there could be more to their mother’s mysterious disappearance. Alex and Hayley investigate the matter and discover a conspiracy involving man-made earthquakes.
