Players can find hidden caves in Citadel Area 13 by exploring with Wirebug Monster Hunter Rises: The Sun Rises. The castle is a newly added area dawn DLC. This is the ruins of a castle surrounded by forests and swamps. Outside the castle walls, the player will encounter a snowy wasteland. Inside the castle, players can encounter the Three Lords, as well as powerful new monsters added in this expansion: the old dragon Marzenor, the gorilla-like Garangom and Monster Hunter Rises Lunagaron, an impressive tusk wyvern.
Players eager to explore the castle will notice that certain areas of the map around that area seem inaccessible. To the south, players will find the castle’s 13th district. At the bottom of the map, there seems to be a path leading to a gray cloudy area. As players approach this point, they encounter what appears to be a dead end. However, the player can find an alternative route to the hidden cave Monster Hunter Rises: The Sun Rises Fortress.
To get to the hidden cave in the 13th part of the castle, the player needs to use nematodes to reach the secret area hidden inside a large hollow tree stump. Wirebug is a device that allows the player to recover from combat, such as against Monster Hunter Rises Seregios or explore by flying around the map. Players using Wirebug can enter hidden caves and collect any loot they find there.
How to find hidden caves in Citadel Area 13
The entrance to the hidden cave in the castle complex 13 Monster Hunter Rises: The Sun Rises found inside a tree stump. In a pool full of toadstools, use the roundworm to climb to the top of the tree on the left. The stumps are completely hollow and falling from them will take the player to hidden caves. Go down and go through the tunnel. The player can clear a pile of bones before continuing. The tunnel will eventually lead the player to a cave that leads into the moat surrounding the castle.
In this hidden cave, players can find important ore-producing mines such as Monster Hunter Rises The last crystal. Additionally, players will find a fishing spot, Stump Sap, a spot to place a large Nematode to quickly return to camp, and an IX Relic Log. For players who like to end the game, finding hidden caves in the 13th district of the castle will also clear the fog from the map.
