Michael Strahan’s daughter tearfully shared an update from her doctor, saying she’s almost done with chemotherapy.
Isabella Strahan has been battling brain cancer for the past few months. In fact, she had to undergo emergency surgery in October 2023 to remove a large medulloblastoma. She just completed her second round of chemotherapy for her brain tumor.
Isabella has been documenting her journey on YouTube. She began the recent video of her crying “happy tears.”
“My doctor just called me and told me I just have to do two more rounds of chemo… and I’m so happy,” she said. “So I’ll finish in May and I can try to have a summer to feel better.”
This will allow Isabella some free time before returning to school.
“I’m really happy because I thought I would finish at the end of July because I was supposed to do six rounds in total,” he continued. “And then I would really have to go straight back to school. So I’m very happy.”

“Now I can’t even be a little sad because I can do it,” he continued. “I’ve done it, I just have to repeat everything I just did. I’m super happy”.
Isabella spent the rest of the day doing physical therapy and talking to her personal counselor.
“I’m in a very good mood,” he said, smiling from ear to ear. “It’s just a great day.”
Little did he know that his day was about to get even better when his twin sister, Sophia, showed up for a surprise visit. She burst into tears when he saw her walk through the door.
“Oh my God! I got so many surprises!” She exclaimed. “Today has gotten so much better. Lots of happy tears today.”
