The 33-year-old singer sings about a relationship that is sure to have an impact on her life, even if it ends in heartbreak.
Fans believe the song sounds similar to her. midnight song “Mastermind” and some call the songs cousins.
“I didn’t come here to make friends / We were born to be suburban legends / When you hold me, that keeps me together / And you kiss me in a way that will ruin me forever,” Taylor sings in the song’s chorus.
At the outset of the song, Taylor refers to the anguish she caused herself.
