I looked at a lot of brands at that time, and Escada really attracted me. Escada is a really iconic brand, and it was a leading brand in the 80s and 90s, but it needed a revamp, and I saw a lot of potential in it. It has a great history and a great story. Even now, if I’m at a party, people come up to me and tell me they got married in Escada or wore Escada to their daughter’s wedding. I am a working woman and I am a mother. So I see the world through my customer’s eyes because I am a customer too. I wear the brand day after day; I live in brand.
