Mayank married actress Sanah Kapoor on 2 March 2022 in Mahabaleshwar. Reportedly, they got engaged in 2017. The news of their engagement was shared by Om Puri’s wife Nandita when she was talking about her husband’s death in an interview. He said,
We were to attend the engagement ceremony of Pankaj Kapur’s daughter Sana and Pahwa’s son Mayank. Om called me and by the time we reached there, he had reached my house.
Mayank and Sanah were seen enjoying their sangeet ceremony in a video posted on Instagram by actor Vivaan Shah on 1 March 2022.

Mayank started his acting career by performing in several stage shows and plays. In 2011, he appeared in the short film ‘Cricket: My Religion’. Later, he appeared in several popular short films such as Unfit (2014) and One Night Stand Up (2020).
