Mauricio Umansky shares an update on his marriage to Kyle Richards.
Over the summer, it was reported that the 53-year-old real estate mogul and 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills The star was separating after 26 years of marriage.
The two then issued a joint statement saying they were not getting divorced, but admitted they had had a “difficult year” in their marriage.
In a new interview, Mauricio opened up about his and Kyle’s marital problems, insisting that they “are not separated.”

“We were dealing with our own things, super quietly and internally, just our own problems,” Mauricio explained while appearing on the latest episode of La Agencia. Red microphone podcast. “I mean, certainly, we’re not separated. We are not divorced at this time. “We are nothing like that.”
Mauricio added that he and Kyle are “still dealing with our marriage.”
“We have been married for 27 years together, and it has been an incredible 27 years,” Mauricio said, before clarifying that “it has been an incredible 26 years and it has been a difficult year.”
He continued: “You know, Kyle and I are blessed, where we actually had 26 years where we didn’t have a bad year and I know most marriages have bad months, bad weeks. [and] bad years.”
Following reports of a split, Kyle and a country music singer have sparked many romance rumors.
