On Tuesday (September 26), the singer said during his show at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California: “After this tour, we’re going on an indefinite hiatus of shows, so it’s great to have you with us tonight. Thank you so much.”

After fans expressed concern, he confirmed that the band will not be breaking up during their concert at San Jose’s SAP Arena on Thursday (September 28).

“I didn’t want to scare any hardcore fans by implying that we were breaking up or anything like that,” he said. “That’s not happening. Don’t worry about that”.

Matty added jokingly: “There just needs to be a very firm end point at the end of Still… at its best because I still know what I’m doing, but a part of me doesn’t.”

Ice Spice recently revealed what Matty told her after making jokes about her on a podcast.
