Martin Scorsese put his knowledge of Gen Z slang to the test in a fun new TikTok with his daughter Francesca.
The 80-year-old Hollywood icon recently filmed a TikTok with Francesca, 23, where he asked her to define modern slang terms like “sneak link,” “tea,” “different hits” and “kept sleeping.”

Matin managed to get some of the terms right, including “ick” and “throw shade.”
He wasn’t sure of other words, and Francesca laughed as he gave it his best shot.
“These are personal peccadilloes that one can have,” he said when defining “sneaky bond.” She continued and added: “Your own life. Your own thinking. Things you want other people to know or just people close to you. Something like that?”
The couple’s video went very viral and accumulated almost 2 million views in four days. At the time of publication, more than 260,000 fans have also liked it.
