Martin Lawrence opened up about his friend Jamie Foxx while accepting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (April 20) in Hollywood, California.

His daughters Amara, Iyanna and Jasmine were also present. You can see photos of everyone in the gallery!
During an interview with Extra at the ceremony, she shared some good news about Jamie after we learned he suffered a “medical complication” last week.

“Well, I heard he’s better,” Martin told the outlet. “My prayers are for him every night and I wish him nothing but the best, one of the best we’ve ever had in Hollywood. He is not only one of the best artists, but a good person.”
He also reflected on receiving his star, saying, “I feel very blessed and I thank God for this honor and fair recognition and my fans, and it’s something I’ve always wanted.”
Martin was seen on the set of bad boys 4 with another very famous co-star last week.
