On Thanksgiving Day, Mark Wahlberg shared a clip of himself shirtless, flaunting his abs while soaking in his cold ice bath, a routine he apparently follows regularly. As he steps out of the pool cove, he says, “Remember on this day, every day, to give thanks and praise the Lord. “I started late today, but I’m getting there.”
Just before facing the icy fall, he casually comments: “It’s 40 degrees outside. And 40 degrees in the water.”
As the clip ends, he adds with a smile: “I’ll see you at the gym,” while making the sign of the cross.
The Instagram post has 1.8 million likes and thousands of comments. One follower commented: “I think I speak for all of us shameless girls when I say “Thank you for these posts.”
Another commented: “The man is 52 years old and looks better than 90% of 30 year old men.”
So while many followers loved her post, they were still shocked that she did it at her age. And I can agree!
Age is just a number
It’s further proof that 52 is simply a number: it doesn’t limit what you can do. With sheer determination and focus on both body and mind, you can achieve anything, whether it’s rock-solid abs or the mindset to take on an ice bath at 3 a.m.
