After announcing that “it’s time” for “All I Want for Christmas Is You” to return to your playlists in a fun video this week, Mariah explained that she hadn’t forgotten about Thanksgiving.
“I had to go with the flow because everyone was rushing into the Christmas season and they started playing my song. So I kept saying, ‘Not yet.’ Don’t play it yet. It’s not time yet,’” she recalled, adding that her videos became a joke to respond to.
Mariah said her videos announcing the holidays have become more and more exciting each time she films them.
Regarding “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” he recalled his goals in writing it: “That’s the first Christmas song I wrote and I never thought, ‘Oh, this is going to be, you know…,’ these kinds of results. were going to have.
