Maria Bakalova was born on Tuesday, 4 June 1996 (age 24 years; as in 2020) in Burgas, Bulgaria. Maria Bakalova is a trained singer and flautist. He started learning flute at the age of six. In an interview he said,
I started singing at the age of 5 or 6 and then I started learning to play the flute. But at some point, I wanted to explore more. I wanted to run away from reality. Because in acting you can become anyone. You can do anything. You can live on Mars.
He studied at the National School of Arts in Burgas, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in acting, and a second degree in flute. Subsequently, he took a course in theater arts at the Krstyo Sarafov National Academy for Theater and Film Arts in Sofia.

In 2020, she appeared in the film Last Call in which she played the role of Alexandra. The story of the film ‘Last Call’ revolves around a girl who has to be saved from suicide through the power of love. Later, in 2020, he achieved international stardom with the American mockumentary film Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, in which he played Tutar Sagdiyev, a fifteen-year-old teenager who travels to America with his father Borat, who hires Tutar as a Tries to present.
