Despite recent rumors that she used drugs while on TikTok, Mama June Shannon shut down the gossip by stating that she has been sober for years.
TMZ reports that during a recent livestream on the social media platform, Mama June was seen rambling about others criticizing her. She then began to repeatedly crouch below the camera’s line of sight.
Although critics were quick to suggest that she had returned to using drugs, June told the outlet: “I am completely sober as of January 27, 2020. I don’t do drugs, I don’t smoke cigarettes and I don’t drink.”
Mama June further explained that during the live broadcast, she was cooking. She bent down to read the comments and further noted that she was blind in her right eye. This makes it difficult for you to read it.

Mama June also admitted that she hated herself for the things she did during her “darkest” days. “I don’t remember much of that time period. Just bits and pieces like that,” she explained. “But the biggest and stupidest thing I’ve ever done is spend so much money on drugs. Now I’m back to being a tightwad and Justin tells me I’m a money hog.”
Mama June added that her drug addiction cost her $3,000 a day. Although she is now sober and has been for over three years, she now suffers from a number of unidentified health problems.
