In 1999, Caralissa Monteiro began singing jingles for commercials and TV commercials. After singing in her college programs, she got a chance to sing a jingle for a coffee brand with music directors Loy Mendonsa and Ehsaan Noorani. He was paid Rs 3000 to sing his first jingle. One of his friends told him about an audition organized by Indian musician Leslie Lewis and he got the job of singing another jingle. Later, Leslie Lewis started calling him frequently to sing jingles for more advertising films. For more than two years, he worked exclusively with Leslie Lewis and made over 500 jingles with her. He has sung more than 4000 jingles and has also written and composed lyrics for many jingles. He sang the jingle for Limca advertisement.
