Maha Ali Kazmi was born in 1988 (age 30 years; as in 2018) in an affluent family in Karachi, Pakistan.

Her childhood was spent in Karachi and after completing her schooling, she went to Australia to pursue further education. He attended Monash University, Melbourne, Australia to pursue a Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree in Finance and Macroeconomics. He also did Diploma in Business Administration. While studying there, he also worked with professional musicians as part of the church choir. Maha Ali grew up listening to the classical music of Antonio Vivaldi and Beethoven and developed a keen interest in music from an early age. At the age of 16, she joined an underground band in Karachi and started writing songs for them. It was his father who introduced him to a wide collection of music; From Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to Lata Mangeshkar’s songs.

After completing her studies, Maha Ali returned to Karachi and auditioned for Cornetto Music Icon. Kazmi was selected as a backup singer for ARY Digital’s show where she got a chance to work with singers like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Azmat and Aamir Zaki.
