Death
He died on 12 March 2023 in Pune at the age of 32. She had gone with a friend to look for a room for her bakery in Wakad, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, when she felt dizzy and suddenly fell. He was then brought to a hospital, from where he was shifted to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital, where he was declared dead. Some injury marks were found on his face. Some of his relatives alleged that he was murdered; However, police said it appeared to be a case of sudden death. After the incident, a senior police inspector from Wakad, Satyawan Mane, spoke to the media and said that they have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating further. He said,
Madhu Markandey used to make cakes. On Sunday, Madhu and her friend had gone to look for a room on rent to expand their business. There Madhu suddenly felt dizzy and fell down. Madhu was taken to a private hospital by her friend. But, he was asked to be taken to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital. We have registered an ‘Accidental Death Report’ (ADR) and further investigation is underway.
