Realme is a smartphone brand under Oppo’s sub-brand, which has been in the mobile industry for more than a decade. In 2023, there was news about him resigning from Realme and starting a new venture with HonorTech that gained attention.

Career
Madhav started his professional journey as a sales manager at the Priory Business Group in the USA, where he worked for three years. Later, he joined Perfect Communications (India) as a sales director in 2008 and was promoted to the position of chief executive officer in 2016 before leaving the company. In that particular year, he became a sales director for Oppo, concentrating on expanding its online and offline sales.
Realme
Realme was co-founded by Madhav Sheth and Sky Li (Li Bingzhong) on May 4, 2018. Sheth took on the role of CEO for Realme in India and Europe and later became the vice president of the company in 2019. He is responsible for overseeing Realme’s strategy development, market expansion, product engineering, and brand recognition initiatives. Thanks to his leadership, Realme has become the fourth-largest smartphone brand in India, according to both International Data Corporation (IDC) and Counterpoint Research. Sheth is also a guest columnist for prominent national and international publications including Forbes (India), Times of India, Fortune, Economic Times, and Hindustan Times. Realme has expanded its operations to 59 regions across five continents under his leadership. Madhav resigned from his position at Realme in 2023. He announced the same from his official Twitter handle on 14 June 2023.
