Lizzy Savetsky A Jewish Influencer Left RHONY Over “Antisemitic Insults”

Lizzy Savetsky, a Jewish influencer and activist, left the RHONY (Real Housewives of New York City) reboot due to the “flood of anti-Semitic abuse”. She was the newest cast member of the show, but left the reality show Bravo midway through production. Lizzy revealed her decision in an Instagram post on November 16, 2022, stating that she will no longer be participating in the upcoming 14th season of RHONY.

Her decision comes less than a month after Bravo announced that she will be joining Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Jessel Taanko and Brynn Whitfield on the show. The RHONY housewives are down to six. A Bravo rep also confirmed the story to Variety. According to the statement:

“After careful consideration and discussion with Lizzy, we have collectively decided that Lizzy will not be joining the cast of RHONY.”

“I’m a chronic perfectionist who is never satisfied and always wants more.” I want everything. I want to attend the right events and dress appropriately. I want to be all things to everyone. I killed him everywhere I went.”

Lizzy volunteers with various non-profit organizations serving the Jewish community. According to her official website, lizzysavetsky.com:

“Lizzy is an ardent supporter of Israel and the Jewish people, and works with a number of nonprofits and charities to help her people and country.” Therefore, she was asked to participate in the Israel Celebration Parade as an honorary marshal.

Lizzy even launched a social media campaign called True Love, True Loss to reduce the stigma against Jewish women around the world. According to her website,

“Lizzy took it upon herself to develop a social media campaign to raise $57,000 for a Torah for the Israeli military in memory of souls who died in the womb.”

She even created her own IGTV series, BASHRT, to help single Jews find love. Lizzy also uses her platform to showcase her style and educate people about her deep values. In early October, Lizzy posted a video in which she lashed out at rapper Kanye West’s racist statements. She stated:

“I continue to receive extremely nasty, even dangerous comments in support of his anti-Semitic agenda.” My children’s great-grandmother didn’t escape Auschwitz, so we couldn’t just stand by and watch individuals threaten our very existence as a nation. We have to talk! I take these threats seriously, and so should you.”
