Liton Kumar Das was born on Wednesday, 16 February 1994 (age 28 years; as of 2022) in Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Their zodiac sign is Aquarius. He studied at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratisthan (BKSP). Later, he studied at the American International University, Bangladesh. He used to play with tennis ball in his hometown. His elder brother played cricket under coach Abu Samad Mittu and he used to watch the players play matches. He gradually developed interest in cricket and started training under Abu.

He was signed by Comilla Victorians for the 9th BPL season.

Injury
In November 2019, he suffered an injury in a Test match against India held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India. A bouncer thrown by India’s Mohammed Shami hit him on the head. He batted for a few minutes and left the field after complaining of discomfort. He suffered a hamstring injury in the series against Zimbabwe in August 2022. After an MRI scan it was revealed that it was a grade two muscle strain. He recovered in 3-4 weeks.

Death threat for posting photo of Hindu goddess Goddess Durga
In September 2022, Liton Das posted a picture of Hindu goddess Durga on social media and wished his fans on the occasion of Mahalaya. He received death threats from many people in the comment section of his post.
Exchange of words with Sri Lankan player Lahiru Kumara
During the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup, in a match against Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka’s Lahiru Kumara dismissed Liton and advanced towards him while abusing him. Liton reacted by abusing him. He was later separated by his teammates and umpires. Litton was fined 15% of his match fee and 1 demerit point for breaching Article 2.20 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which deals with “conduct contrary to the spirit of the game”.
