Lisa Rubin News

Lisa Rubin got a high-paying position in corporate law after earning her law degree from Yale in order to pay off her school obligations. She promised herself she would leave after two years, but those two years stretched into five, then more than ten, and so on. Her life appeared to be perfect as she got closer to 40. She was earning more money than anyone in her family had ever made while also holding a board position at Planned Parenthood of New York City and had two daughters. But she had forgotten why she had chosen to study law in the first place: to fight for the rights of women and girls. She made her final exit from her white-shoe law company in January 2018.
