On Instagram on January 19, Park posted several photos of herself in the hospital and announced her medical emergency, and Collins shared her love and concern in the comments.

Ashley Park falls ill while on vacation abroad
Ashley Park first got sick while on vacation over the holidays. What started as tonsillitis “turned into critical septic shock” that infected multiple organs.
“I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we were initially told,” she explained. “Grateful above all to [Paul] for being unconditionally by my side in all of this. You calmed my fears and carried me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, terrifying emergency rooms, countless scans, tests and injections, excruciating pain and so much confusion, all while we were alone on the other side of the world. of those we know. Park went on to thank the ICU doctors and nurses “who worked tirelessly” and shared that her friend Jaoli Being was present with a team that helped her with language translation and “life support.”
Ashley Parks also thanked her “personal team of heroes” who were back in California taking care of all the insurance details.
“I hesitated to share what’s been happening because I’m still in full recovery… but now I know I’m safe on the other side of the worst,” Parks continued. “Thanks for reading this. “I’m sorry I have been so absent recently for so many people and people in my life.”
