“My abusive, racist, misogynistic wife who beat my father faked my death,” the Instagram Story post read.
In a statement to TMZ, Christopher says that statement is false as well as defamatory, and hints at a civil lawsuit.
“It is virtually certain that the person responsible for that Instagram post, as well as anyone who repeats the completely false and defamatory accusation in it, will become a defendant in a defamation lawsuit,” he says.
He continued: “Everything said is 100% false, and I trust this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and false statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account.”
Lil Tay’s “death” was the subject of intense investigation last month, before it was revealed to be a hoax.
