“I didn’t want to propose in Per Se because what happens if one year you change locations. And years later I will have children and I will say: ‘Your mom and I have [engaged here]. I know it’s a laser tag place, but at one point it was a very fancy restaurant.”
According People the proposal took place at Nancy’s family home in Wolfeboro on Lake Winnipesaukee. Fallon proposed wearing a unique ring designed by Neil Lane.

Jimmy spoke with People about the wedding plans and described Nancy as the ‘coolest girl’ in the world. He said;
“I am very excited right now and just happy. I’m the luckiest guy on earth. She is the coolest girl in the world. I was serious. I did it all on one knee. I tried not to cry before she did. I was breaking down a bit. I don’t even remember what I said.
Jimmy and Nancy were married in December 2007 in an intimate ceremony involving close friends and family.
Nancy’s two daughters were born via gestational surrogacy
Nancy and Fallon welcomed their first child, Winnie Rose Fallon, on July 23, 2013. The news came as a surprise to many, as there were no photos of Nancy sporting a baby bump. Fallon revealed a couple of weeks after Winnie’s birth that she was born via surrogacy.
It revealed that the couple had unsuccessfully tried for a child and were surprised when surrogacy worked. Jimmy told Savannah Guthrie on an episode of Today;
“We had a replacement. My wife and I had been trying to have a baby for a while, so we tried a lot of things.”
Fallon explained that the couple got Winnie’s name from the place of their engagement, Lake Winnipesaukee. Winnie’s sister, Frances Cole, was born on December 3, 2014. A representative for the couple said People;
“Her latest addition joins her big sister, 1-year-old Winnie Rose. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until her new daughter, Frances Cole, made her official debut. Both of Fallon’s babies were delivered via surrogate.”
Nancy and Jimmy set out to try for children immediately after their marriage. “I was like, ‘Now how are you going to do this?’ Nancy said on Ask the Fallons. “And that was another question.”
The couple explored different solutions to their fertility problems and ultimately settled on gestational surrogacy. “It was five years of really, really, really, really, really deciding not to give up,” Nancy added.
