A member of the Griffith family tells how Lyme disease affected her health after being bitten by a flea. Since 2016, the landlord has lived in Mexico. Leslie Griffith, born January 1, 1956, is a famous writer and journalist. She began her career at The Associated Press and The Denver Post before moving to KTVU, where she spent 25 years as a writer and news anchor. For 22 years, she worked as a general assignment reporter and host for KTVU’s first 10-year newsletter in the San Francisco Bay Area. Griffith was a lone weekend news anchor for nine years, spending her 25th birthday in Moscow covering the Cold War.
Despite working in difficult conditions, she still managed to gather information and create stories. She is considered a breaking news expert and the only one who can provide information when important news is trending around the world. Leslie ensures that viewers have up-to-date information on everything that’s going on in the world. For years she has highlighted the TB problem in elephants in the circus and worked tirelessly to remove all elephants from the circus. In 2005, she founded the Leslie R. Griffith Brave Women Scholarship to help young women.
She left KTVU in 2006 and began writing for online newspapers such as The Huffington Post, San Francisco Chronicle and others. In addition to appearing as a host on KTVU, she also played a character in the 1999 film True Crime.
