Lauren McCluskey lost her life on the evening of October 22, 2018. Her ex-boyfriend Melvin Rowland shot her dead. In fact, Melvin was also a registered sex offender. He was even convicted of forcible sexual abuse in 2004. Lauren’s body was found in the back seat of the car parked near a residence hall on campus. Not only this, but her killer Melvin also committed suicide after an hour. Her body was found in a church in Salt Lake City.
