Lakshmi Yadav is an Indian cricketer who was picked by UP Warriors Women for Rs. 10 lakh in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction to be held on 13 February 2023. She plays the position of wicketkeeper and is also a right-handed batsman.

Lakshmi Yadav was born on Wednesday, 22 October 1997 (age 25 years; as in 2022) in Bamheta village, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Libra. He did his schooling from Ram Kishan Institute, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Lakshmi used to play cricket since childhood and she always got the support of her family. In 2013, he started his training under coach Sanjay Nagar. Later, when Sanjay joined Sunil Saini’s DS Cricket Academy, Lakshmi also joined the academy.

Cricket

In 2011, she joined the Delhi women’s cricket team and played Ranji Trophy for them. In 2015, she became a part of Delhi’s Under-19 team. On 2 January 2015, she played in the Senior Women’s One Day League for Delhi Railways against Maharashtra Railways.

In 2018, she scored 92 runs off 85 balls against Arunachal Pradesh in the Women’s Cricket Under-23 T20 League and Knockout (2018–19). Following the tournament, she was selected to represent the India B team in the T20 Challenger Trophy in 2020, but was not in the playing squad.
