Although her husband Jason and her in-laws were spotted in Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl VIP suite, Kylie Kelce decided to opt out of watching the big game in the special seats.
On her Instagram Story on Tuesday, February 13, Kylie stated that she actually refused to watch Super Bowl LVIII because of a superstition. “At some point on Sunday my superstition came to the fore,” she said. “I refused to watch the game, even on television.”
Kylie Kelce further noted that she spent most of the big game watching her good friend Sarah King’s reactions, which kept her informed. Kelce referred to King as the “real MVP.”
For his part, King shared images of Kylie with her back to the coverage of Super Bowl LVIII. “She wasn’t lying,” King declared. Kylie noted, “Wow! She there she is.”
Kylie and Jason, brother of Kansas City Chief tight end Travis, were present with Taylor Swift at the game. Jason and Travis’ parents, Donna and Ed, were also with the group. Celebrities seated in the suite included Ice Spice, Keleigh Teller, Lana Del Rey and Blake Lively.
Kylie’s husband Jason was seen sporting a Chiefs-themed plaid jumpsuit and his “Big Yeti” t-shirt. He was also present at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl after-party wearing a Lucha Libre mask.

Just before the Super Bowl, Kylie Kelce revealed that she and Jason’s three daughters, Elliotte, Bennett and Wyatt, would not be attending the big game.
“They’ll be home,” Kylie said. PEOPLE. She also noted that she preferred to keep the girls at home while Jason wasn’t playing.
“I think it’s a little controversial, even during regular season games,” Kylie Kelce continued. “I don’t take the girls to every game. They are still very young. A stadium with thousands of people can be overwhelming and there are three of them. “It can get hectic, it’s just a lot.”
Kylie then stated that she will decide which public events are best for the girls to attend. “I love doing things that set them up for success. The idea of traveling across the country with them. She went on to add that she and Jason think they will be much happier to see their Uncle Travis on TV because it will be easier to see him.
