Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn team up for an epic reunion!
On Wednesday (September 27), the Scandal The stars recreated an iconic scene from their popular ABC political drama that aired from 2012 to 2018.
Kerry played Washington DC crisis manager Olivia Pope in the series, and Tony played US President Fitzgerald Grant.

In the video posted to Kerry’s Instagram, the former co-stars recreate their scene in the series finale where Olivia walks down a hallway to the song “The Light” by Album Leaf and knocks on President Fitz’s door.
They simply say “hello” to each other in the final scene. Presumably, that means they ended up together.
The 2023 version shows Kerry walking down a hallway in a beautiful red outfit before knocking on Tony’s door and exchanging greetings with him. Then they both break character and start laughing and hugging.
“Hello ππΎ DC #Olitz is ready for you β€οΈ,” the actress captioned her post, referencing the name of the ship for their characters’ relationship.
Kerry recently sported three fashion looks to promote her new autobiography, βThicker Than Water.β
