Kendrick Lamar releases Drake Diss song amid dispute
“Kendrick Lamar took his time responding to Drake, but now he’s finally released an explosive track aimed at debunking Drake’s claim to everything he raps about in the black community!!!” TMZ wrote.
“Kendrick’s bombshell, titled “Euphoria,” is a 6-minute rebuke that shatters the Toronto rapper’s “tough guy” image. “Basically, Kendrick is talking nonsense about Drake and his manager Chubbs’ connections to the underworld.”
Drake in trouble for new song
Drake doubled down on his diss track “Push Ups.” He released an additional track titled “Taylor Made”.
But the new song had an interesting twist. It featured AI-generated verses from legendary West Coast rappers Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur.
Snoop and Tupac’s AI-generated verses were a clear swipe at Lamar. They are two California icons that Kendrick had referenced several times as his inspiration. But the trolling could come at a high cost for Drake. According to a new report, Tupac’s estate is considering slapping the Canadian-born rapper.
“Tupac Shakur’s estate is threatening to sue Drake over a recent anti-Kendrick Lamar song that featured an AI-generated version of the late rapper’s voice, calling it a “flagrant violation” of the law and a “flagrant abuse” of his legacy. ” reads a statement from the late rapper’s estate.
Drake has since removed the song.
