Kelly met Bob Saget, an American stand-up comedian, actor and television host, through a mutual friend in 2015. Soon, both of them started dating each other. Kelly got engaged to Bob in 2017. The following year, on October 25, 2018, the couple tied the knot at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, California.

Okay, so we went and did it. And we are very happy.”

Before Kelly, Bob was married to Sherry Kramer (American screenwriter) for almost 15 years. Kelly has three stepdaughters from Bob’s first marriage – twins, Aubrey Saget and Lara Melanie Saget (born October 16, 1989) and Jennifer Belle Saget (born November 18, 1992).

Her husband, Bob Saget, died on January 9, 2022 (aged 65) from a cerebral hemorrhage caused by a head injury after checking into the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Following her husband’s passing, Kelly paid an emotional tribute to Saget via an Instagram post, writing,
How lucky I was to be married to the most incredible man on earth. I was the only person who got the chance to go on this crazy journey with him and be involved in his life over the last 6 years. We had the happiest time ever and changed each other’s lives forever.”
