Katherine Ryan began her career with Hooters as a corporate trainer, traveling across Canada to teach other waitresses and help open the UK’s only franchise in Nottingham. She made her television debut in 2012 on Channel 4’s 8 out of 10 Cats, which helped land her roles on Channel 4’s Campus. She took part as a celebrity contestant on BBC One’s Let’s Dance for Comic Relief on 23 February 2013, when she reached the final and placed fourth.
In 2015, she took over as host of Hair on BBC Two, replacing Steve Jones, and joined the cast of Tinie Tempah on Sky 1’s music/comedy program Bring the Noise in 2015.
