Kasie Hunt began her journalism career in January 2005 as an intern in the Washington DC Metro Area political division of NBC News. She worked for NBC for five years until leaving in May 2005. From July 2008 to February 2010, she worked as a correspondent. on health policy for the National Journal’s CongressDaily, covering the passage of the Affordable Care Act.
